  • Went in to deposit a check from Canada. They asked me who it was from and why did I receive it. What?? I've never been asked that before. She then told me she had to ask permission to deposit. she went to the back and came back up and told me to have a seat because they needed to verify with the bank that it's legit. I asked her what made her want to do that and she said it was to protect me. I went to have a seat and texted my sister because she banks at Wells Fargo too and she got the same check and same amount as me and she said she deposited her check no problem! I waited over 15 minutes for them to verify it and then they started to question my name. Horrible. It was finally deposited but very strange it didn't happen to my sister at another Wells Fargo. I will not go to this location again. Waste of time for nothing.
