Lee and Jean! Lee and Jean! Lee and Jean!
Lee is the owner who specializes in gel nails and nail art and other assorted nail wizardry. She hooks my mom's gels up and they look beautiful every time. She clearly takes pride in her business.
Jean is by far the best pedicurist I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. She gives a wonderful massage (hot stone calf and foot massage? heck yes!!), is super sweet and clearly takes pride in her work. She also does my natural nail manicures and they are impeccable and last!
The salon itself is among the nicest salons (hair, nail, etc) I've had the pleasure of patronizing. Gorgeous tiled foot sinks and luxuriously comfy banquette-style benches with upholstered massage mats for your back; high bars for getting your hands done, tremendous selection of nail polish colors and accents (glitter, decals, stickers, etc); assortment of at least a dozen scented lotions and oils to pick from; cookies, tea and coffee!
And a word about cleanliness: AUTOCLAVE! All the metal instruments are sterilized in an autoclave and emery boards and buffers are single-use. Did I mention they put rose petals and lemon slices in your soak water? Yep, it really is a total spa experience.
Everyone is very nice (from reception to operator) and I find their prices super-reasonable given the high quality service they offer. I have paid similar prices at nail salons in Los Angeles where the experience is not nearly as lovely.
