  • Who does not love a home improvement store? My main purchases here have been paint and garden supplies. On occasion when its necessary, we have purchased our washer and dryer, refrigerator and dishwasher here. The Range is the next appliance purchase sometime in the near future... I love the neat, wide aisles and always finding more things to buy than we really went in for. Associates on the floor are rather helpful and know exactly where things are. In other words, don't try looking for things yourself unless you know exactly where it is. It's nice that they have the self checkout lines, that we never get to use, because to get the military discount you have to show a cashier your ID. but I wonder if with the new ID requirements to attach it to your My lowe's card that will change as well.
