  • I don't remember how I came across Tour Guys. I guess it was luck. Several free tours are offered, but I was most interested in the St Lawrence Market tour as it involves my favorite thing- food! When I first signed up, I thought 90 minutes was a long time. It ended up being just enough. Our tour guide was Aaron. He was personable and knowledgeable. We started outside the market and he told us the history of how it used to be city hall and a jailhouse. Then we visited several vendors including Carousal Bakery. Don't expect to get a full meal from the small samples like you're at a Costco. Try and buy if you like anything. And even though it's a free tour, make sure you have cash on hand to tip at the end!
