  • Just advice... I was in the dealership to purchase a Volt. i've been to a lot of dealerships to try Hybrids. Even though i want a used one, understandably you didn't have one in stock. I wasn't offered an opportunity to drive a new one because the new model was so different from the used one...i was told. However Ford and Toyota dealers put me in the newest model first. They realize that with my volkswagen settlement money coming in $18,000, I'm gonna have some cash. Smart. I wasn't offered coffee or water. I was dressed in my "I don't have any money gear" like i always do when going to a dealership. However, I have three college degrees(two masters) finishing my doctorate, a high income job and my own business. I mentioned that i paid cash for my current 2014 Passat (hint). And mentioned that i own another truck that i also paid cash for(hint). The people were pleasant, the salesman knowledgeable, and nice! However I would invest in some customer service training. My experience there compared to other car companies was less than par. I'm going to another Chevy dealer today dressed like I don't have a dime in my pocket..lol.. I ended up with a volkswagen, partly because my walk in the door experience was so great. How about some coffee Mr. Motley, a bagel, water, can i order you lunch...lol. and i was dressed like a homeless person basically but they treated me like a king. Service as i expected also matched my first experience with them. it was great the car just sucked lol. Same at Ford, which is surprising, cause honestly most domestic companies lack in customer service, i've owned Lexus, Mercedes, Volkswagen and Audi, imported dealers always roll out the red carpet, and i always dress like I'm broke, i get better deals that way. It wasn't busy actually it was empty...instead of gathering my personal information and sending me on my way, next time sell me a car! And trust it wasn't the salesman he was pretty good, i would look at the sales manager, get some customer service training in dude! Let's make America great again by selling more American cars!
