I've been here twice this year. I'm not a great ice skater, but am good enough that I can seem good to my seven-year-old niece, who was our reason for going both times. This place is fairly inexpensive (especially for Vegas), but their rental skates are duller than a butter knife. I'm sure it makes mass wipeouts safer, but it makes skating a little rougher, especially for kids who are just learning. They also don't use the Zamboni on the ice very frequently, which is good because it means more ice time, but bad if it's really busy like the last time we went, the day after Thanksgiving.
Overall: Lots of kids here and not a ton of show-offs. A decent range of music usually. Friendly help. They just need to sharpen the skates a bit more frequently and they'd be way better than just A-OK!
