| - Veggie Delight is just one of many food joints in what's known as the Chinatown complex. With Buddhist owners, their menu consists of Asian vegetarian cuisine, from entrees to quick snacks like Vietnamese sandwiches and pearl tea drinks. Most items can be made vegan, usually at an extra cost.
The language barrier made it difficult to get any recommendations and inquire about menu items. Vegans will have an even tougher time confirming what is or isn't vegan. A couple dining at the same time had to leave to the hospital because the girl had some sort of food allergy reaction; the staff was continually apologizing, and I'm convinced this may have been due to the communication problem.
Only a few tables are set up for dine in at this small establishment. I had a chicken steak dish, which my brother promptly put in an order for after seeing how good it smelled and looked. Fortunately, the taste was just as good. But his dish came out with a different presentation due to extra vegetables. I was jealous. The szechuan dumplings were good, as well (listed under noodles, but turned out to be more like an appetizer).
Overall, a decent place for veggies, but a lil on the inconsistent side, the language barrier being the biggest hindrance.
