  • There is nothing about this store I don't want to like - it has an amazing selection of my favourite unique brands (Frye, Fluevorg, Campers) and every time I go in, I discover a new brand that I really like. The location is great - very central. The hours are great - open early on Sundays. It's clean and well lit. And the prices are appropriate. What's not to like? What's not to like is the customer service. From my teenage days working in a department store, it was ingrained in me as a clerk to be the first one to say hello. So I struggle when I see a clerk watch me come in and turn their back and walk down the stairs. I struggle when someone brings me a size that doesn't fit and they don't offer to go get me another size - I have to ask. I am not privileged to shop at your store - I am happy to have the opportunity to support local businesses. But to this day the only purchase I have made there was with a gift certificate. Oh Gravity Pope - Calgary loves you, needs your selection and your buyer's eye! Now please - life isn't so tough working at a trendy shoe store, is it? Just throw me a smile and hello once in a while.
