| - !!!!! DO NOT ENTER THIS SHARK INFESTED DEALERSHIP !!!!!
These boys at Sands, specifically Tom Wilcox, Josh Leader, and Michael Carver, are disrespectful liars and thieves who take advantage of women that trust and rely on them to ensure her transaction is honest and complete.
My brand new car had 6,000 miles on it at the time of purchase, and had a huge back windshield leak. Why did no one fix this in the first 6,000 miles? I don't know. The car had gone through the wash and sat in the rain, so they did know about the leak and ignored it.
My oil life was at 0% at the time of purchase, so I had to make another 2 hour trip to Surprise for them to fix this.
Which was when they proceeded to ignore my complaints about the stains all over the seats. This is supposed to be a brand new car by the way.
Then, my dealer Michael promised me a full set of rubber mats, including a trunk mat, and a sun visor. Michael started to ignore me once I made my purchase and to this day I have only received half of my rubber mats (after waiting 6 months). Josh says Michael didn't add any of this in my contract, even though Michael led me to believe it would all be taken care of.
Now, I recently found out when I opened my spare tire well for the FIRST time, my jack and locking lug key has been STOLEN.
I am just at a loss for words that a brand new car has this many issues. And I can't even begin to explain the disrespect I've received for trying to resolve these issues.
Tom refuses to call me by my name even though he's been corrected several times with minutes between each correction. He can't show me proof that everything was, in fact, in my car at the time of purchase, because there was no checklist, no walkthrough, nothing. I was handed 2 keys and that was it.
As a first time buyer and as a woman, I knew nothing about the process. I was unaware I needed to check that everything was in my brand new car. I trusted this dealership would not lie to me or rob me, and now I see I can't trust the dealers at ALL.
Josh, Michael's supervisor, refused to correct the mistakes his employee committed against me, and kept saying I bought my car 5 months ago so I'm no longer relevant to him. Even though I had been trying to reach Michael for those 5 months and waiting for any packages to come before I reached out to his supervisor.
I don't think it matters if I bought my car 10 months ago or 10 seconds ago. I should receive in full the services and products I paid for, without any disrespect. I should have been taken through the entire and correct process of buying a car.
I now know Sands Chevrolet Surprise didn't do that for me because they knew they could take advantage of me, steal my items, and I would never know.
My first car experience has been completely ruined.
Sands, you can expect I will be sending certified letters to Mary T. Barra, Dan Ammann, Mark Brnovich, Buzz Sands, and the BBB in the next few days.
