An amazing addition to Charlotte's South End beer scene! They have only been around a little over a year, but I cannot imagine a time when they weren't around. It seems like they have always been around. The beer is excellent. They did over 100 batches of beer in their first year, which is quite the accomplishment. I love that every time I go there is something new to try. Since they have a smaller system than some, they can make smaller batches of different beers. My favorites include the vanilla blonde, salty coconut red, and peak farm double pale, just to name a few. They now can their beer, which is great.
I agree with what others have said- this place is getting packed. WAAAAY packed. I have begun to avoid it some b/c I know it will always be busy. They are expanding soon with a new rooftop bar, which will be helpful. I also like that they are one of the only breweries to do pitchers. It's easier to buy a pitcher for a group, rather than having to run back and forth to the counter when they are busy.
