  • My hubby and I, both property virgins, started looking for our first home together this summer in the west loop. We were referred to Rachel by a friend/colleague. Honestly, we didn't care about the company name, who would have gone with Rachel no matter which company she belonged to. The condo we ended up purchasing and loving was the third condo Rachel showed us, and at that time of showing, my husband was actually traveling outside of the country. Rachel was extremely helpful in getting me a "conditional contract" which allowed for my husband to "approve" the condo once he returned while practically taking the condo off the market! All that on top of helping me getting EXACTLY the price I wanted, and EXACTLY the terms I wanted it in. I specifically remember that day on which I made this "conditional offer" to the seller, Rachel was in a car driving up to her parents' house out of the state - she still managed to walk me through every single item on the contract, so clearly, and all the time reminding me: do whatever you feel comfortable with, do not feel you have to be rushed into anything. She helped me calm down and really think things thru, and finally made a decision that we were really really happy about. All throughout the loan application and closing process, Rachel was extremely helpful - she referred us to the real estate attorney who helped us thru the transaction. She was holding our hands in the entire process: punctual, responsive, always on our side. Although we were property virgins, we felt we were in really good hands, and confident with the decisions we were making. Thank you Rachel!!
