3.5 stars is about right. The crowd is a mix of Scottsdale suburb locals and people staying at the sprawling Boulders golf resort so there isn't a boat load of original character. They have great happy hour specials, especially the food. I found the drinks to be on the sweeter/weaker side for the price tag. The food was better than average as far as Americanized Mexican goes. They had some service issues and were clearly understaffed when I was there. Overall, a perfectly serviceable option if you happen to be in that area and don't want to venture into "town".
