  • I didn't know much about virtual reality (VR) before Dale V. told me he had purchased tickets to the Star Wars VR experience at The VOID (TV). To this day, I still don't know much about VR, but can say that the experience was pretty damn incredible! In order to enjoy TV, you first have to knowhow to get there. Sadly, guest services outside of the food court was NO help what so ever and gave bad information. This led use downstairs and back towards hotel registration, where they lotus going in the right direction.....That right direction is after you have parked in the garage, walk through the food court. Once you hit the start of the canal, walk on the left side and you will hit TV. Check in was easy and friendly despite being late as a result of those piss poor directions. You'll watch a quick video and after that you'll gear up with your back/chest pack looking thing an SOCOM VR helmet. We went in with a couple bringing out fire team to a total of four. Unknown if VR area can support much more than that. Once you drop your visor....you are immersed in the Star Wars world. You'll feel wind and heat. If you get hit, you might feel a little bit of a tingle. VR really plays with your head! I can only imagine what the VR future will bring. For $30 something bucks for around what I think was 10 minutes, I found the experience to awesome!
