rev:text	I love shopping here for my guacamole and pico de gallo ingredients! Well, among other things too. They have very good prices on their produce. And who can resist the bakery shelves? All those pretty colorful pastries and cookies. The cookies really don't have a flavor though, I think its just the pretty looks of them. The pastries I like are very flaky and have the lemon or custard type filling. My daughter likes anything with apple, so for her the turnovers are her choice. Occasionally, I've gotten pretty good deals on the chicken and meat that they package in bulk. They don't seem to have it all the time, but when they do, I just go home and separate them into 1 or 2 lb sections depending what I will be using it for. There was a time we were having alot of carnitas! And all kinds of Drumstick chicken recipes! I don't usually go for drumsticks, but they are good in soups and fried chicken! They make their own tortillas right there in the store and they always give you a free sample and you can sample the red or green salsa. sometimes they have guacamole and chips are also to sample. Be careful! red doesn't always mean hot! the green salsa is hotter! Hubby made that mistake , but he likes the pain! I don't know why we never discovered their tortilla chips before, but we recently started loving them, and everytime we go now , we get 2 bags, with the red salsa and the guacatillo dip. It says mild on the container, but its more medium hot to me, and I like hot, but this is just the right amount, so also beware if you are a mild salsa lover, the guacamole has no heat. I like getting the refried beans here too. sometimes its just easier to get the fresh stuff when I'm pressed for time and can't make it myself. It's true, the downside to this market is the lines to checkout. I don't think there is ever a good time to shop, I have never encountered it where there was not a line and the parking lot is also always so busy. Once I had to go back out to the parking lot to get a cart. The store was busy as it usually is, I just think they didn't have a cart person that day or they were on a prolong break!
