We bought a Used Toyota three weeks ago. The vehicle is great sales team was awesome but when it comes to transferring plate OUCH. They assured me that the plates from my old vehicle would be transferred to my new vehicle. So the next day I went to MVD to put new plates on my car to find out that the transfer was not done. So I called the dealership and was ran around and then was told I needed to pay an additional $79.18 to do this. so I gave them my cc info and then I got a call from their MVD department and was told they can not transfer the plate they will give me a new plate then come in and they will transfer the plates again to correct the issue. They said to do nothing until the new plates get to my house. Well it came yesterday and it was not a plate it was a sticker. SO the plates that were on the vehicle my son was using were no good. That's right, my son was driving around a vehicle that was unregistered. Thank Goodness he did not get a ticket or was not in an accident. them......
I Called them and received a call back from Brian the Finance Manager I expressed my concerns over what happened. A phone call would have been nice to follow up on the plates, he agreeded, he said he would speak to each department head. In which he did. It does not help with what just happened to us, but in the future other customers will not experience a issue like this one.
As for the vehicle it has been almost a month. The vehicle is GREAT....... We drove it to Laughlin, NV It saved gas and was great on gas. The vehicle is not even Toyota certified but was maintained by their service department. They do an excellent job maintaining there customers vehicles.....
