I've been to Thobors on Mt Pleasant, nice French boulangerie although on the expensive side. I got a lemon meringue tart today and I was just simply disappointed. I paid $6.78, which, for a delicious pastry is fair but this was a very thin and tasteless tart shell with about 2 millimetres of lemon filling and then a centimetre of merengue.... I mean, that's not what a lemon meringue is, why are you selling me overly sticky meringue and zero filling. I know rent is expensive lately, but your ingredients cost you maybe 80 cents total, at least make a good product for $6.78. It was a big disappointment, a little upset as I had high hopes for them now that they're in the area.
