  • I thought this would be good for my son as it caters to teenagers only. On the contrary, some of the the instructors are not encouraging, the program requires the teen to drive 100 hours at least before they take the test, (by the parents, not kidding) and the school has mandatory "fear" videos, which for some kids can be helpful, but for others, it may scare them to the point of not wanting to get behind the wheel at all. My main points for giving it one star: very expensive, and requires the parent to do all the work. Are we really responsible for getting a kid ready for a driving test? Do we really have one hundred hours to spare? Not to mention the cost of gas! One instructor, Maggie, does not give a single encouraging word to the kid, she just says how dangerous it is to go out there, and how not ready he is. Thus, he loses his self esteem. SOME encouragement is necessary for a first time endeavor, whatever it may be. A two hour test. The norm, is fifteen minutes. Need I say more? Our son left Driving MBA and went to Stop and Go. He passed after only three lessons. (No HOURS required from the parents.) Conclusion: save your money.
