[SERVICE] - 4/5
Been there twice, and the service was always friendly. The owner came to our table and told us how the traditional desserts were made from scratch!
[DÉCOR] - 5/5
Earthy and natural vibes with plants, shrub decor on the ceiling, and tree decals on walls. I also got a hit of delightful egg waffles
[QUALITY] - 4/5
Desserts were homemade with high-quality ingredients.
[ORDER] - 4/5
- Hot Coconut Sago - $5.50: included a mix of big and small sago balls! The coconut milk was aromatic and silky. This is one of the best sago from a traditional Chinese dessert joint.
- Taro Egg Waffle - $5.50 + Black Sesame Ice Cream - $1.25: egg waffle was a little hard. I'm not sure if the taro ruined the softness of the waffle, but the flavour was unique and had the perfect amount of sweetness. Black sesame ice cream was decadent and delicious!
[OVERALL] - 4/5
Although the egg waffle was not soft enough, but the Sago was one of the most unique and delicious ones I ever had! I would definitely recommend the traditional Chinese desserts from Sugar Hut.
