Unbelievable, I have dealt with finance attempting to have my service contract reimbursed after trading in my vehicle. Was told by Mike in Finance that I needed to go to my local Toyota Dealership for reimbursement here in Wichita. I visited my local Toyota Finance department and within minutes without an appointment. This is the level of acceptable service you would expect out of A prestige Toyota Dealership.
But not the case with Riverview Toyota. After realizing I was sold a non-Toyota Service Contract the reimbursement lies solely on the selling dealer that being Riverview Toyota. So here is where the saga begins. After explain to Mike multiple times that I would need to go through Riverview for reimbursement he told my wife and I that we needed to come to the dealership personally to fill out the forms to apply for reimbursement. Now how Ironic when he knew that we are on business assignment in Wichita and explained to Mike that I would not be able to make a trip to Arizona just for a form to be filled out. His nonchalant response was to fax the cancellation request. So my wife faxed mike the cancellation request and the other forms Mike requested. That was Friday October 28th. My wife has left Mike multiple messages to confirm that fax went through on his side as we received a fax confirmation.
So here it is now Tuesday November 1st and still no reply.
Now I have had to take it to the next level through Toyota Corporation to hopefully get a resolve.
This could have been resolved by a simple timely call stating that Mike received the fax.
inexcusable. If I were to run my business in such a way I would be out of business, just saying....
