| - Heaven on earth for us 80s kids.
I came here last Saturday looking for a number of NES and Genesis games for the NES that I rebuilt from my childhood. For the Genesis, I couldn't find some parts for it.
First of all, the energy here is great... it's pretty packed and I love that retro gaming isn't a fad. The store has everything -- Atari 2600, NES, SNES, Sega, Genesis, P1, P2, P3, and everything else. It's clean, laid-out well. Also, GREAT deals here. I shop a ton on eBay and the games where are CHEAPER.
The worker there Saturday afternoon was really knowledgeable and, although he was younger, he understood the various games and actually played them. I bought a ton and he was patient with me as I get getting everything. My haul was; Two Genesis controllers, Genesis AC power, cables, six Genesis games, six NES games (give or take).
The only potential hiccup was one of the Genesis games might not play but I'm going to clean it and see if if it's my Genesis or the game. The other games are playing no problem but I'll clean it and give it a try, no biggie.
I highly recommend this time machine.
(PS, the guy in the other review whining about his game not being worth more than $1, if you think it's worth more, than take it to eBay but these guys are selling games for $2-$10 on average. Take it to GameStop for a real shock.).
