Ages and Stages is one of those places that if you don't have a kid you kind of just pass by without even noticing it. When I was on one of my stroller walks I passed by it and then slowly backed up staring through the window which is crammed with clothes, toys and other kid-goodies.
This consignment store is packed to the tits with stuff for kids of all ages. Everything from clothes to toys to books, to activity centers. But also because its that packed, if you have one of those SUV type strollers don't think you can roll into this place easily. This store is best entered toting your kid in a carrier.
I asked the owner about pants for my son and she is obviously one of those people that has a method to the store's madness because she quickly directed me to a bin full of pants, then promptly dumped them on the floor and helped me sort through them based on my price point and colour preference. She really was extremely helpful. All of the clothing is in excellent condition and most are brand names like Baby Gap, Carters and Gymboree easily priced at about 75% off retail or more.
They don't usually have things "in stock" so you're going to have to keep making frequent trips to see what they have in at the moment. I have my eye on a stand-alone Jolly Jumper. So if you see one on your next visit - BACK OFF I HAVE DIBS.
