| - I go to this McDonald's about 2-3 times a month, more or less. I almost always get the same order. 20 pc chicken nuggets and hot mustard.
I don't usually whine about fast food orders, I've worked at McD's before and I know how it is. It's not worth complaining about cold food, stuff that isn't fresh, and so on.
With that said, I am truly impressed with how this place can reliably screw up even the most simple order. I have ordered that same order (20pc w/ hot mustard) maybe 15 times, and I think that I have gotten it right maybe 5 times. That's a 33% success rate.
Let me just list some of the ways they screw it up:
-Hot mustard gets swapped out for honey mustard (this happens about 1 out of 3 times)
-Forget the sauce altogether
-Forget a 10pc nugget and only put 9 in the other
-Can't figure out how to swipe my card
-Can't hear my order because they are yelling and there's a party going on inside
-Roll up and nobody answers the drive-thru machine
-Drive-thru attendant doesn't pay attention and thinks I said a completely different order over the microphone (does hot mustard really sound like bbq??)
-Nobody is there (place looks empty) when I pull around to pay so I pull forward, and then it takes literally 20 minutes for them to figure out how to give me the right order
Despite all this, there are always a ton of people here. If they screw up my simple order 66% of the time, I don't want to know how bad they will mess up a complicated order, which I know from experience not to order.
The drive-thru is always a crap-shoot. There's a 50/50 chance you're gonna be waiting 20 minutes, so get comfy. There's a 50/50 chance they won't be able to figure out a payment method and you'll get the food free. I know it seems ridiculous but I go here a lot and it's really a daily occurence.
I know it's just a McDonald's, but man these guys are really good at screwing up orders.
My suggestion is that you don't come here for food, only for entertainment. It's not much of a restaurant, but they will wow you every time with coming up with creative ways to screw up your order.
