| - Horrible experience, and I should have known better. I'm a larger girl and am very aware that this store is catered to skinny, leggy women. And that's fine. But when my bachelorette friend wanted to have a styling party - complete with champagne and accessories - I figured I'd give it a try. After all, there were several flattering dresses I saw online in my size. So I preordered the dresses, as directed, and hoped for the best. When we arrived at our appointment, the "stylist," Destiny, informed us that she hadn't been able to get any of our dresses, due to inclement weather out East. This seemed like a flimsy excuse, but I didn't mind - I had brought back-ups. She invited my petite friends to peruse the store for dresses they liked. For me, she said, "Oh, I've pulled some for you." Okay, I thought, I'll try it out. The dresses she had chosen for me were offensively hideous. Old fat lady mother of the bride type dresses. And I am a big girl, but I pride myself in dressing well and I know that they could do better. When she came to check on me, I asked her if she could find something more in my style, describing to her what that meant. She brought me back several of the same dresses I had already seen, many of them dingy and tattered. I felt humiliated and dehumanized, like I wasn't even worth her effort. And if she had said to me, "I'm so sorry, we don't have a lot of great dresses in your size right now," I would have been totally fine, but she tried to pass this selection off as an acceptable option. It was ridiculous. I sat in my dressing room, crying, until I felt like coming out. We insisted on being refunded (two of the other girls were also unimpressed with our haphazard experience) and left. I still had a great time in Vegas, but I don't think I'll be patronizing this company again. Not after how I was treated that day.
