  • I notice that some people give this establishment a low rating because of prices. What they don't know, is that most Italian places (even high-end) have food that is cooked and ready before you even arrive, and even re-heated. La Torretta is a special place that serves fresh food, and you get what you pay for here. If you think it is "too pricey" for home-made Italian, then I'd suggest you never visit California, or cities like Chicago, NY etc. because La Torretta's prices are extremely reasonable in comparison. And if you are wise enough to check Groupon.com, you'll find a generous deal of 50% off your bill. The service for my wife and I was top-notch, and the atmosphere was fantastic. We went when it was a bit slower, which is what I prefer for a romantic evening. I've already purchased the Groupon deal for my brother-in-law, so I obviously have no problem recommending La Torretta to anyone. A must try for any Italian lover!!
