  • I had eaten at Ella's a couple years ago with a friend. We both enjoyed the food but the location is so far from my home so I hadn't returned. Today I was craving some good ole fried chicken and Mac and cheese. I was in the area so I decided to stop at Ella Elm's. When the cashier brought out my order she said "grilled fish." And I said "no I ordered the fried chicken." So they "fixed" my order. I was in a hurry to go, silly me. I didn't check the bag. When I got home I discovered that I got black eyed peas instead of Mac n cheese. I got white meat chicken and I asked for dark. The only thing I liked was the chicken. It was fresh and juicy. The red beans and rice were not good. Tasted more like chili. I also had the peach cobbler which was too sweet and tasted like something was missing. I will probably not be back.
