Every year, night market continues to be more and more crowded and the vendor food also becomes more expensive. I suppose I would have expected this by now since this will be about my third or fourth time going. Overall the experience was good in terms of the atmosphere however what I don't understand is when people seem to also bring their dogs. Unfortunately in such a crowd, you can't even see the dog and I'm always afraid someone will be stepping on their feet or trampling over them. Same thing with people who bring their strollers into the crowd - all the smoke that is generated from the cooking is definitely not good for their health so I would highly recommend not bringing your little ones or dogs to the event because it is simply not the event for them.
I had the oyster omelette - wasn't too bad. I think it could've had a little more oysters to justify the cost. All the items were around $10 ballpark. My friends had also tried the stinky tofu and the BBQ squid which was good as well.
I would say to come once to try it out but it is hard to say that I would enjoy going it every year. The last I went to night market was most likely about two years back since it does become repetitive after awhile.
