| - Ah, finally found a doughnut shop time machine. Aroma, taste, and style taking me back to the doughnut shops of my childhood.
The accommodations: one long diner bar and a couple of tables. The kind of look you expect to see a bunch of farmers drinking coffee from old mugs with partially worn out names, and discussing the weather. Too wet or too dry, no in between.
The smells: Baked goods always smell fantastic, mixed with fresh coffee. Two flavors, leaded or unleaded.
The taste: Never frozen; Made that morning; Not smothered in frosting; Fillings not from a can; The cream filling is rich, buttery, and guilt provoking. Beat the pants off any supermarket brand (yah I'm talking to you Giant Eagle).
Very friendly service. I also like the pace of the area. About the time I roll into this shop, the town has not quit woken up yet (much like myself). Coffee full, sweet pastry at my lips, bring it world.
