| - Terrible customer service! Shame because I just moved to the Lofts down the street. I rather drive somewhere further than EVER go back there.
Took my cocktail uniform dress in on a Thursday, Christmas Eve weekend. told the lady at the front desk I needed it for Sunday night, she said she'd expedite it for the next day but would charge me $15 to do so. I said that's ok. I left my name and phone number per their protocol, she did not mention they were closed on Saturday. So I show up Saturday morning, shop it closed. I end up having to BUY a new dress which is NOT altered obviously (so uncomfortable) I come in on Monday and mention it to another lady at the front (different lady than the first one) she could care less about my troubles.
Rude, rude, rude is an understatement. Her response, "well... we had a sing on the door". Sign was up high on the left hand corner along with all the other signs and signage on the door. I asked, " I couldn't get a courtesy call that my dress was ready and that you were closed the next day?" She gave me a snotty, "well there's a sign right there on the door" no apology, nothing. Rang me up and asked me to pay the full price even though I didn't get my dress by the time I needed it! On top of that, she examined my debit card for a long time (wonder for what) and as I walked out, obviously furious, she says in a mocking tone, "have a nice day!"
I see that yeah, I missed the small sign on the door but it wouldn't have cost them anything to verbally mention it as I left my garment or give a courtesy call. And to top it off, receive rude customer service when I go pick up my dress and mention my troubles?! Unacceptable.
