rev:text	I planned a work Christmas lunch at Essex about a month in advance. We had a party of 10. We arrived and were seated immediately. Our waiter brought out waters and recommended some different items on the menu. After ordering we waited a while for our food. For some reason all of the entree salads were brought out but no one else's meals were brought out. This was REALLLLLYYYYYY awkward for a work lunch because those of us with our entree salads waited to eat. I had to talk to the hostess to find our waiter to bring out the rest of our food . It sucked and was really embarrassing because I set up the reservations and picked the place. Someone came to our table and said "sorry we split your ticket up and our kitchen is backed up." They didn't offer any appetizers for those waiting forever for their food. The only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because my Brussel sprout Caesar salad was delicious even after sitting for 15 minutes waiting for everyone else to get their food.
