I love the farmers market! I have ignored it for way too long now. We stopped by on a weekday and it was pretty dead. There were only a few vendors in the middle building. We were told that meat farmers come on Saturday to the first open air building.
We came back on Saturday and there were so many awesome meat farmers. We also found out that the vendors in the middle building are just resalers. We ended up just getting some ground beef which was grass fed. The sale the farmer had made it about the same price as the organic stuff we were getting from Costco (5lb for $30). Unfortunately the farmer we bought from only accepted cash, but it was worth it.
Once we eat the rest of the meat and eggs we already have at home, we will definitely be back to get some chorizo, lamb, and eggs. The ground beef treated so much better than what you get at the store. I've heard the eggs and fish are really good.
I'm excited to see if there are even more farmers when the weather gets warmer! We will definitely be coming back regularly!
