  • Was overall disappointed with my first visit to the Scottsdale Top Golf location after having very positive experiences at the Gilbert location. We went with a group of 6 people and had a 10% off coupon. We presented the coupon to the front desk but decided not to request our bay until our entire group arrived to not start the time clock. We decided to share one bay rather than two bays because we were told the only two bays were on the first floor. The place was slammed on the Friday afternoon around lunch time. By the time our group arrived we went back to the front desk and were told that we would have to go to guest services to apply the coupon and pay, this would have been helpful to know the first time we went up because the line for guest services was over 30 people deep. We finally paid and waited another 10 minutes to be shown to the bay and were super frustrated to be shown to the first floor after already indicating we didn't want to be there. The staff member had misquoted the hourly rate for the bay and ran the wrong persons credit card for the difference so our first ten minutes in the bay was working to correct his error with no attempt to waive the misquoted rate. We got set up and our waitress arrived, service was decent, nothing special. I ordered a burger with bacon and fried egg, the bacon was super fatty and not crisp, I ended up pulling it off. I ordered a ranch with my meal but she forgot it so by the time she brought it out my tater tots were cold. From start to finish this was just a pretty bad experience, such a disappointment since I have really enjoyed going to Top Golf in the past. I had thought about going to Top Golf for my birthday next month with a group of friends but now I think I will have to find somewhere else to go.
