| - Paris Las Vegas Hotel & Casino is in major need of a renovation of the establishment as well as the management. It is dirty and gross. On Saturday night it was very much understaffed. There were dirty ashtrays and empty glasses left on so many machines with no one cleaning up. I was there for 3 nights and NO ONE was winning anything on those machines. Not even $200. I saw two machines with dirt and grime in between the keys. It was too disgusting to even play on. Their ATM machines were so outdated they couldn't even read my ATM cards. I had to go to Cosmopolitan to get cash on more than 3 occasions. At the ATM, I could stand in line and watch the bare assed employees walk back and forth on the bar like strippers who just didn't strip. These girls were freaking miserable and no one was watching them except for me when I was at the ATM and the occasional pervert who was taking a quick pic to take back to his room later for when he needed a quick fix. It's so tacky to have those girls up there. I would not expect that from this hotel as I misunderstood this hotel to be "classy." Not so. The girls were supposed to be dancing but they had a band playing really loud 100 feet away and if you were standing at the ATM you could clearly hear the band really loud and the music the two girls were supposed to be dancing to. It was so annoying for the patrons to have to listen to two different songs playing but it must really suck for the employees. They also have all their female cocktail waitresses dressed ridiculously. At times, I felt like I was a dirty strip club. As far as the hotel, the first room we were in smelled absolutely horrible. My 12 year old was like "Mom, I can't handle this smell, we need to switch rooms." We switched rooms and the smell was gone but the room was filthy. There was mold on the ceiling in the bathroom and near the tub. The side chair to the table had wet stains on it. The carpets were super dirty. I called management and was disconnected on their own hotel room phone 3 times. I finally got through to a manager and explained I was very unimpressed with the room and hotel and that I wanted to know what my options were for checking out early. They said they would waive the $50 early cancellation fee but they didn't care if I left negative reviews. "If you aren't happy, you can leave." My family did not want to pack up and leave, so we stayed. I didn't fight management for comps of any kind. They know this place is dirty and filthy and they don't care. The walls in the hallways have huge chunks taken out of them and are just left there with a need for repair. I asked a bartender who was not busy if I could please have a glass of water and he said you can buy a bottle of water. I walked down to the other not busy bartender, and asked the same question and was kindly given a glass of water. There is nothing special about the buffet at all, unless you are going to eat a bottomless pit of of crepes, then enjoy!! Other than the crepes, I was not at all impressed with the food quality of breakfast or lunch. (We did not have dinner there.) If you really like crepes just get them from the restaurant across the hall from the buffet and save yourself some money and unnecessary extra calories on the food you'd eat at the buffet which isn't that good anyway. Compliments: The valet people did a really great job consistently. They hustled and they were very friendly and easy to deal with.
