  • It's a budget airline, period. What most people fail to understand is the difference between a budget airline like spirit vs a legacy airline like delta. Having flown spirit, I had a great experience. Airplane was brand new, service was good and on time. Bring your own water from the water fountain at the airport and you'll be fine. If you pay attention to the online booking information that spirit makes extremely easy to access, you'll have no baggage fee surprises at the airport. Be responsible and don't blame the airline for your lack of effort to read what you are buying.
