Buffalo Exchange seriously takes up 75% of my closet now.
Going to Buffalo is a game of luck whenever I go, but that's why I love going. The trick to loving this store is to walk in without a goal and to treat it as kind of a treasure hunt. I've gotten so many quality items serendipitously over the past year and I still love wearing those items today.
Buyers are very selective when it comes to customers selling items, so don't be disappointed if you walk out without selling anything! If you really want to let go of your items, there is also an option to donate your clothes that weren't bought by the buyers. If you do sell something, you have the option of getting 1/2 of what the item is being sold for as store credit or 1/3 of it in cash. So if they buy an item of yours and they're going to sell it for $18 in the store, you can receive $9 in store credit or $6 in cash.
If you buy a lot of clothes, make sure you're ready to carry out a big pile of clothes or bring your own bag! Instead of walking out with a plastic bag for your items, they give you a chip worth 5 cents to donate to a charity. Make sure you drop your chip off at one of the charity boxes by the door!
