Uptown Art is what I'd like to call a Level IV Disaster of a Paint and Sip Studio.
A group of 9 of us came here on Friday, September 16th for the Sunflowers painting. The same one Jill D. referenced in her review.
First of all, Uptown Art jams as many attendees as possible into their studios for classes.
45+ people? Ugh.
Not exactly the most effective method to have a fun class.
The guy teaching it didn't take the time to answer questions attendees had RE: their painting and there didn't appear to be enough support staff on hand to answer questions.
Many people gave up halfway through. I know from many of these classes that every painting will look different, it's meant to be a good time; however, mine and many others didn't look remotely like what was presented.
There are so many better studios in the Valley that don't jam pack their sessions and take the time to assist attendees . . . Because there's not 40+ people.
So based on this experience alone, why the heck would I ever return?
Spoiler Alert! 99% likely that I'm not going to.
Get your shit together, Uptown Art, you should be embarrassed.
