One star is for the friendly customer service agent. My car rental experience at Hertz is the worst customer experience that I've had in a long time.
What a joke, prepay online for rental and then wait over an hour in line with all of the other people who prepaid. This is an extremely poor customer experience.
The Sky Harbor Airport fees are ridiculous. I rented a car for a little over one day and paid over $300. It was bad enough that I had to pay for 2 days (a tough fact that I just had to accept), but the over $100 in extra fees was awful.
It would have saved me over $200 if I took an Uber to a separate car rental spot and rent from them (even another Hertz).
Would NEVER recommend renting from this facility, and I will actively tell people who plan on renting a car about my experience.
