| - I came here with my BFF this past Sunday, right when they opened at noon. It is a cute little shop located in the same plaza as Yoga Tree and Mr. Pho. Service was friendly, courteous and attentive. I really appreciate the chef coming out to introduce the tea selections and her creations during our visit!
We ordered 2 sets of the Valentine's Tea Set at $28 per person. The food were nicely presented in silver bird cages. Each tea set comes with 3 mini bite-size sandwiches, 2 scones, 3 desserts, and a drink of your choice! My friend enjoyed a pot of Blueberry tea, and I went for the 10oz. Syphon Coffee! The brewing process for the coffee is quite mesmerizing - check it out if you love coffee :)
I would highly recommend the Lavender Earl Grey Scones! I can eat this all day lol. They were SO delicious, especially with that slightly sweetened whipped butter! The Rosewater panna cotta with strawberry sauce on top was another one of my favourite; however, the strawberry sauce was a bit too tart for me.
I really wish I could have chosen my desserts for the tea set or perhaps have offered a different variety in taste instead of citrus because tbh I did not enjoy all 3 of them due to the sourness. My friend loves sour but unfortunately, I do not :(
Overall, I did enjoy my experience at My Cup of Tea, and I would recommend it to others. But for next time, I would ask "What's for dessert?" before ordering the tea set again!
Keep up the good work!
