| - I have long loved the Peppermill. Since back in the late 70s, I visited the Peppermill in San Francisco and north bay. Love the Reno Peppermill, as well.
This is the second time I have eaten at the Las Vegas Peppermill and as usual, the service, atmosphere is always fun and first rate..... however, I had breakfast of eggs and corned beef hash. The hash was canned, but very dry, as though it had been sitting under a sunlamp on a steam table that had run dry. The eggs, ordered over-easy, were burned and one yoke was almost hard boiled. The toast was very ordinary and was burned. For the price they charge (the same as the Venetian) I expect more, but Denny's a few doors away actually makes a better breakfast than this for half the price. I was very disappointed and won't be back for breakfast. Lunch will likely be fantastic, but this didn't make me happy. I think they need to look at their procedures and keep a better eye on things.
