I have been a Home Depot fan for a long time, however I purchased a new Refrigerator in late November and it has been the worst nightmare that I am still dealing with. Set up our delivery in conjunction with our move date into our new home about 5 weeks out. On the day of delivery a Friday, no calls and no delivery. As I began the process to find out where it's at, I was transferred around and they couldn't find a record I bought it!! Then I was told they over sold the unit and it would be upgraded, but not delivered for another week, no notice, no calls from them. With no fridge we lost all of our refrigerated and frozen food and went a week without a fridge. On the new delivery day a non upgraded fridge was delivered with an out of align freezer drawer that doesn't open correctly with scratches on the 3 handles! To date I have been on hold for more than 2.5 HOURS, have visited the store 3 times and Spoken to over 6 different people!! Now they are going to send a repair technician to repair our new fridge... Not only are we ending up with a repaired new fridge I have lost over $500 In food and lost time in dealing with this, and it's not over yet. Today I was offered a $50.00 dollar gift card for my trouble...WOW. SORRY but Home Depot is losing s great customer. Very unfortunate scenario I wouldn't wish on anyone and this whole scenario doesn't seem like the Home Depot I have known.
