  • Always packed and for good reason. You know a restaurant is awesome when they have bacon wrapped jalapeños as a side. Midwood shares the title of best BBQ in Charlotte along with Mac's Speed shop, although I can't say one is better than the other because they both do different things really well. Midwood could get a 5 star rating with their baked beans alone. The beer selection is great and food is even better. Prices are extremely fair for the portion sizes. Their meats are all outstanding. Mac n cheese could use a little makeover, but overall it's not bad. Both locations are fantastic. If heart disease and obesity were not legitimate concerns, I'd eat here everyday.
