We were in Phoenix on Friday as part of a weekend road trip get away and decided to eat here as we had to make a stop at the Apple store in this mall. I've heard of true food kitchen but have never eaten at any of the locations. I would give the food here 4 stars, ambience about a two or three star because I'm not really into the pretentious mall dining scene.
So let's talk about the food. They have terrific vegan options and the menu is highly based off of an anti-inflammatory diet. I ordered the TLT which is tempeh lettuce and tomato in which the tempeh is made to be like bacon. This sandwich was absolutely delicious! I got it with a side of kale salad which had a light citrusy dressing. Also had the cauliflower appetizer that had a creamy Harissa and tahini sauce.
I'll definitely go to true food kitchen locations at other places, I know that there's some in orange county which I'm usually around that area every month or so.
