  • Nothing special about this hotel. Very small lobby area, no great views in the room and overpriced drinks and food. $10 for a Heineken, really? The location is not bad but is not great either. Have to walk a bit to see the nicer side of old Montreal. The concierge was outstanding. That's about all that I consider outstanding. Everything else was just ok. I was expecting more from a W hotel. I recommend staying at the Intercontinental or the Hyatt Regency before staying at the W. They have better locations if you are walking everywhere.
