| - Perk is snuggled into a corner of a relatively quiet strip mall. The place has an excellent neighborhood feel. The staff is friendly and the food is great! The omelettes are "egg"cellent (see what I did there?) and the coffee is top notch. I often stop in there for a cup of joe.
While there are so many wonderful creations on the menu, I do really enjoy their chorizo. I often just add that to whatever I am eating. With so many different favorites, I am afraid to leave one out, but I do enjoy the breakfast burrito (with chorizo), the Border Patrol, Gordo and Baja Omelettes and the breakfast enchiladas. The iced tea is also good. As a diner, I appreciate the level of detail that they have put into making their decisions on quality.
Also, there is a bar with many unique and creative morning cocktail choices including a flight of champagne, the tasty Peachy Keen, the wonderful Little Miss Sunshine and my favorite, the Bloody "Perk"fect. A spicy Bloody Mary made with Sriracha infused vodka. It is mostly a neighborhood crowd with plenty of visitors from the neighboring resort properties, but with all of the breakfast joint options available these days, Perk has definitely become a go-to breakfast spot for me.
