Why 3 STARS? The Lobby/Check In is cheesy ,like a plain lobby.
NO ONE TO WELCOME YOU IN.
They run this very sloppy. I think the employess and the piolts are either burnt out AND/OR they know they dont have to try hard considering they are the only "SEE THE STRIP" helicopter service.
We got their at 7PM,exactly like they said to be. The cheap Champagne presentation was BAD. They had like 200 plastic cheesy champagne glasses set out with the Champagne already in them. I took a sip and it was flat already. So much for their hyped "Champagne toast before boarding" experience. So far from it.
I understand and did not expect real Champagne glasses or even expensive Champagne...but what I did expect was a warm welcome from someone at the door OFFERING us a glass of freshly poured Champagne.
Not the case.
We checkin in with a BA HUM BUG female desk employee who pointed to a room where they had us watch a saftey video. She didnt even walk us in. When the video was over we sat there expecting to be ushered out and told where to go from there.Nope, no one came.
We just sat in their waiting area with all the other puzzled folks.
Your name is called and you go and sit inside a shuttle van. They shuttle you into the Tar mack, and you wait in the van with LOUD Airport sounds.
Not sexy.
Then you get up and go into the Helicopter.
I felt like we were not treated as if this WAS a special event/evening for us.
Iike we are another group of people getting on a roller coaster.
***6 people per a flight.
***Take Dramamine if you get motion sickenss. The ride is not bad but when they turn...oh nelly ...you get dizzy.
***The Views ARE HOT !! AMAZING !!
***Less than 15 min from entering and exiting the copter.
Then you are back on the Shuttle ,where they take you to the Lobby again.
If you took a Cab there like we did, they will drop you off at the MGM Hotel so you may catch a cab from there .
****I would recommend it because of the views.
DONT EXPECT to be treated warmly like family.
*** I bought 2 tickets for $65 a person via smarter vegas .com
VEGAS dot com sells them for $ 145 each...robbery !
So 2 tickets for $150...with all the dumb "taxes" added.
