A friend of mine told me about this place and Sonia. She told me how her hip is more stable and they do lots of footwork. That really spoke to me since I have a hip that pops out of place and weak ankles. I purchased the new client deal for $112. You get 2 private Pilates sessions with Sonia, 2 semi private reformer classes and 2 Barre or mat classes. I started with the privates since I have almost zero knowledge of the reformer and chair. Sonia is very knowledgeable about anatomy and movement and is able to see where we compensate in our movement and could use extra strengthening.
The cardio Barre class is unlike the other Barre place I attended for a year. WK Barre truly works your smaller muscles and builds up quite the sweat. Ideally I would take it twice a week. It starts out with footwork and really gets those triceps not to mention the abdominals. You get the deep hip rotators no one else works on as they are mainly focused on the larger muscles like the glutes or completely miss the mark by working just the lower back.
After just a few weeks of coming here about twice a week I notice my butt seems more lifted and my boyfriend can see more definition in my deltoids.
