  • Pittsburgh Zoo is the right size for the size of Pittsburgh. We knew it will be hilly but we did not know that tickets are $16/person. The animals are fairly close to observe but that may be because their enclosures seemed small (when compared with DC zoo). The animal seemed to be in good shape and as far as new animals, it was interesting to see rare Amur leopard.
