  • I've been here a few times to work in the kitchen, serving food for the homeless and it is always a great and humbling experience. The homeless as well as the workers are all so thankful and kind to us, and volunteering with other organizations helped me connect with more people in the community who share the same interest and values as my service organization. Any complaints I've had before coming into the kitchen suddenly vanishes when I leave because I get a reminder of how privileged I am with my current life. I love the whiteboard near the sink, because everyday they share a new Godly quote to keep in mind. They also pray every time before meal time and that's sometime I appreciate a lot. This is a great place to do your community service hours, or just to volunteer and help out in the community. God bless the Las Vegas Rescue Mission for so much love and hope!
