They are always watering the grass! It's no wonder it's always dead. Yes all year the grass is dead. They reseed but then just kill it by watering during the day all day.
There aren't any bathrooms and early morning it's filled with the homeless. Too often there are stray dogs and/or dogs off leash. They often pour a powerful smelling poison in the grass and in the walkways.
It's normally pretty peaceful and a lot of the older neighbors take early walls in the walk with their fur babies. Even at that hour you are probably dodging water from the sprinklers.
They have a gated playground for the little ones and covered benches. There is always a heavy supply of bags for cleaning up after your pups conveniently throughout the walkways.
It's a small neighborhood park that has a soccer and baseball field.
There are a couple blind turns for the traffic and it can get pretty scary. The locals take it for granted and speed through there. It feels like a risk every time you're crossing the street to get to the park or leave the park.
I wish the park was paid more attention like simply water at night or early morning would make a world of difference here. There really isn't much here so the grass is really all it has going for it. I've lived here for years, it's always been dead.
