| - My Fiancé and I hired Kolor PHX (Jeff) to be our photographer for not only our wedding day but also for our engagement photos. Jeff spoke about providing "candid" photos and advised he has a rustic vintage feel. Upon retrieval of my engagement photos, I was very disappointed. I received a total of 120 photos with majority of them out of focus, from odd angles, and with my fiancé and I looking in opposite directions. I had dead grass covering my face in about 30-40 photos I received. I spoke with 5 professional photographers, who all agreed that the angle and posing he used on the photos would be unflattering on anyone. When I advised Jeff that what I received was far from quality, professional work. He stated that what I got was exactly what I expressed I wanted. He offered nothing more than an edit "within reason". No reshoot, no explanation on the poor quality of photos, or anything of the sort. The problems with the photos was nothing that a click of a mouse on photo shop could fix. The response I received was "some clients love me, and some clients don't". That's different then what he states on Thumbtack - "If there is ever a time that we have failed short of our standard, we fix it. No questions asked". Good luck getting him to recognize the issues with his photography. My advice to anyone considering Kolor PHX is to purchase the engagement session first before the wedding package. So that WHEN you are unhappy with the photos, you do no have to pay the 50% remaining balance on the full package. As you can see, Jeff has no problem exploiting our "SEVERE financial issues" - which is untrue and considered Slander. As a potential customer, I hope you can put yourself in our shoes and think about how you would feel if someone felt it necessary to lie about your financial situation over social media. No matter what happened - that is unprofessional. My family and friends have never threatened Kolor PHX. They commented their opinions on his work that HE put out there. Jeff succeeded in making my fiancé and I look uninterested in each other. He did not in any sense of the word "capture the moment" or the love we have between each other. Which is shocking from someone who advertises wedding photography. Please feel free to message me with any further questions.
