Let me start by saying that this review will have more to do with management's complete and utter disregard for child safety, and less to do with the food/service, which has always been adequate, but nothing to rave about.
About nine months ago we ate breakfast here and I needed to change my baby's diaper. I put him on the diaper changer and notice it kind of jerked out from the wall and seemed unstable, I finished the diaper change and realize that the four bolts that hold it into the wall were completely stripped and the whole changer was pulling out of the wall. This is obviously completely unsafe, and to me, an emergency, considering that this charger is over 3 feet off the ground, an infant could easily fracture their skull should they fall onto tile from that height. I immediately informed management of the problem, and instead the manager made up a flimsy excuse about teenagers breaking the diaper changer.
About 3 months later we decided to try again, changer was half fixed, the screws in the top had been replaced, but the bottom screws were still pulling out of the wall, I mean, you can literally pull the changer away from the wall, which of course will eventually cause the top screws to pull out again.
I mentioned it to a different manager and she took the opportunity to tell me how awful and crazy the old manager was, instead of just fixing the changer. She did then tell me that it was okay because two of the screws were in. I nicely explained that those changers are supposed to be installed correctly, using all four bolts, so that they are safe, and can hold the weight posted. She ensured me it would be fixed.
Guess what? Three months later, still not fixed. Still pulling out of the wall. Rise and shine complete lack of care for infant and child safety makes me question what other things they do that are less than safe.
We will never, ever be back, as I have given management almost a year to correct this extremely unsafe situation, and unfortunately it's going to take someone's infant getting injured or worse before they take this seriously. If you aren't going to fix it, at least remove the changer all together, instead of risking the safety of every child placed on that changer, whose parent may not notice the loose bolts.
Shame on you rise and shine! I will encourage all my friends and family with small children to avoid your restaurants now, and in the future.
